The Southcoast Brass Band is a 7 piece brass band dedicated to the traditions of jazz & funk that radiate from New Orleans. They have been featured at the New Bedford JazzFest, Southern New England Heart Walk, The Narrows Center for the Arts, Madeira Feast, AHA! New Bedford, William Street Festival, and the Vault Music Hall. They have been in residency since 2017 at Gilda's Stone Rooster in Marion, MA. There is something about that joyous and soulful New Orleans brass sound that resonates with audiences.
